Born in the small agricultural town of Empangeni on the east coast of South Africa, Brent’s childhood was witness to the fall of apartheid and the social climate changes that were attached. Brent has been passionate about the visual arts from a young age, taking an interest in theatre and photography for the greater part of his life. He has received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from Stellenbosch University. Currently, he is studying Film and Video Production at the Brooks Institute of Photography.
