Jarred's love for visual journalism blossomed on a series philanthropic trips to Peru, Mexico, Israel, Swaziland, and Mozambique to document various humanitarian developments and the surrounding conditions. After attending high school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he worked at the Healing Place Church as a video and graphics editor. After several years of experience, he made the decision to take his passion for humanitarian journalism to the next level and is pursuing a Bachelor in Visual Journalism from the Brooks Institute of Photography.
